POLKA CAMERA STRAP

A friend of mine, Pyan once approached me to design a funky and stylish and functional camera strap. He's been eyeing for it for quite sometime and only now I have the space and time to do it. I realised the blossoming of photographers in Malaysia are very very rapid and incredibly intense. Most of them are very good espcially to all my dear good friends who are shooters themselves - (Weda, Hafiz, Jipie, Pyan and to name a few). So, here what I can offer to all the funky and creative photographers out there, that you can come out and shoot the masterpiece with a nice-kool-attractive-cosy strap on your neck.

Above pictures are the camera strap in cotton print and denim. It is a slot-in type. Size may vary for different type of cameras. It can be padded for extra comfort.

To the faithfull readers - thank you for keep on visiting this blog eventhough there was nothing new, praying it would be updated.

Last two years were quite hectic for me, juggling with new ventures and experiences, therefore I was like abandoning or to be more precise, ignoring the existance of this blog for a while. I couldn't commit myself to constantly updating this blog. Just when I had the time to update it, something else MAJOR took me away from my initial intention. Nways, good to be here again. One of my 2009/1430 resolutions are to commit to my blog and productions of Akareka Design.

Insya Allah, this year would be a greater, blessfull and properous year for Akareka Design, Javareka Ad, my husband and I, my families, my friends and to you - the readers.

CELEBRATION!!!

This is a pelamin - a bridal suite - where the bride and groom will sit side by side after the solemnisation ceremony. This is common in Malay wedding and one of the important cultural feature / element in the wedding. I have got the chance to design one for our client, Pn. Hanim. The overall concept is natural,theme colour is purple + white. That is why I have chosen to decorate the whole look with fresh flowers like roses, lilies and to name a few. I also mix it with artificial garlands where she can reuse whenever necessary, crystal beads blind, and decorative glass candle holder. For the final touch, I laid as many jasmine petals as possible to brings out the fresh scent and aroma of the flowers.
