Fabrics No. 39 - 47 - 1 yard and above. Suitable for small and large bags.

Laptop Sleeve

Here comes your saviour! A laptop sleeve to keep your lappy-your closest companion nicely tuck in a cushiony funky cover. Choose from our vast fabric selections, and give us the dimension (width x length x thick). Velcro is used for the closure. Give us sometime to stitch it for you and voila!...ready.. :)

I don't have any ready stocks coz laptop comes in various sizes. If you want one, gimme the details listed above, okay!

1" allowance will be given for every dimension given by the customer . If the finished product doesn't fit your laptop, most probably the dimension given is wrong. No replacement will be entertained. New order at your own expense.

New fabrics updated! No 30 and 33 are from IKEA, Thick upholstery type of fabric. No 31 also from IKEA, a bit thinner than no 30 and 33 but suitable for any bags or upholstery projects. No 32 - Army Camouflage is quite special because I bought it during my trip at Bandung. Thick and sturdy for any sewing projects. Hurry, quantity (yardage) is limited!!

Qarin is a messenger bag. Suitable to for your everyday use, be it for school, college, office, or casual. Ample room to fit in your documents, laptop! (wow :o) and your personal belongings (wallet, make up bag, etc). I also provided 4 pockets, 2 outside and 2 inside for your convenience. The unique feature of Qarin is that, it's adjustable strap. You can wear it as a sling bag or adjust it as your normal shoulder bag. The flap is nicely decorated with cute poppies to give it an extra splashy look! (Flap design or embellishment is up to me or by request)

As promised, these are parts of my fabric collections for making the fabulous bags. Fabrics are the most vital part in my business. Am very selective in choosing ones and most of the textiles were purchased internationally and some are from local stores. I have a great crush on unique prints and patterns and whenever I do my fabrics hunting I will always look for quality without compromising the funky looks. This is one of the criteria Akareka Design will always produce - Quality - Stylish - Practical - Functional...and so on.

POLKA CAMERA STRAP

A friend of mine, Pyan once approached me to design a funky and stylish and functional camera strap. He's been eyeing for it for quite sometime and only now I have the space and time to do it. I realised the blossoming of photographers in Malaysia are very very rapid and incredibly intense. Most of them are very good espcially to all my dear good friends who are shooters themselves - (Weda, Hafiz, Jipie, Pyan and to name a few). So, here what I can offer to all the funky and creative photographers out there, that you can come out and shoot the masterpiece with a nice-kool-attractive-cosy strap on your neck.

Above pictures are the camera strap in cotton print and denim. It is a slot-in type. Size may vary for different type of cameras. It can be padded for extra comfort.

LAYLA BAG

Layla is back again, measures 11.5" width x 7" tall. Strap is 25" length. The front bit is embroidered with 'funkoolicious' and hearts pattern. Fairly small, in terms of the capacity but definitely can stash in your handphone, cards and notes.

B.O.X.Y pillows

These are our pillow line collections. Made exclusively from the imported lovely cotton prints for my lovely client and loyal customer - Any Melina. It is for her new home at Flora Damansara. She is proudly the first owner of these beautiful funky pillows. The little girl in the pix is beautiful Teera, her daughter. Pillow's price range is RM40 and above depending on the fabric and size.

This crispy - fresh cotton prints have just arrived from US. It took only a week plus to reach Malaysia from the date u placed your order. Very efficient I would say, bravo! The fabrics are so irresistable and i feel like to chew it!

CELEBRATION!!!

This is a pelamin - a bridal suite - where the bride and groom will sit side by side after the solemnisation ceremony. This is common in Malay wedding and one of the important cultural feature / element in the wedding. I have got the chance to design one for our client, Pn. Hanim. The overall concept is natural,theme colour is purple + white. That is why I have chosen to decorate the whole look with fresh flowers like roses, lilies and to name a few. I also mix it with artificial garlands where she can reuse whenever necessary, crystal beads blind, and decorative glass candle holder. For the final touch, I laid as many jasmine petals as possible to brings out the fresh scent and aroma of the flowers.
