PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL - BREASTFEEDING

Breastfeeding gives your newborn baby the best start in life. Susu ibu is nature's perfect food for your baby. However, there's more to feeding than putting your baby to your breast. We know it's not always easy for a new mum to be confident about her breastfeeding skills, or to know whether her baby is getting enough breast milk.

Premium Beautiful is specially designed to suit breastfeeding mums. Some of the benefits are:

1) Increase milk flow.

2) Mothers will not experience swollen breasts as the Long Bra cup will balances the process of engorged breast and milk supply if there is gap in between feedings.

3) Wearing Premium Beautiful can avoid the development of breast cyst due to wounded breasts or spoiled/sour milk.

4) Avoid saggy breasts and helps to firm it. The cup will ensure the breasts are in the right position.

5) Waist Nipper will help mothers to sit in the right posture, especially to support the lumbar while breastfeeding. Nursing might take more than half and hour and good seat position is vital.

5) With consistent wearing, the embedded FIR will improve the blood circulation.

This F.I.R. will penetrates deep within the soft tissues of the breast area, helping to reduce swelling, relieve pain, and most importantly enhance the lymphatic drainage process. Not only that, F.I.R. will actually stimulates and speeds up the circulation in the breast. Increasing circulation on every level is the key to a healthy cells. F.I.R. dilates the tiny blood vessels and capillaries relieving swelling, pain and speeding the lymphatic drainage process through the lymph nodes. F.I.R. also stimulates metabolic changes in living cells. This helps to produce energy for vital processes, and assist with the elimination of waste particles generated from the metabolic process. F.I.R. is good for the breast tissues and will help reduce any stagnant or pooling of lymph fluid in and around the cells.

I have successfully breastfeeding my daughter for 2 years 9 months and still counting. Yes, she is still depending on me when it comes to milk supply and there is no signs of weaning! Alhamdulillah, she got more than what she is supposed to. She is also a healthy and smart girl, seldom fall sick especially during her first year.

I have tried to wind down but there is no mutual understanding between us, so I have to wait for a little bit more longer. Her usual routine is in the morning, sometimes at noon and before sleeping is a must. Since I'm wearing PB, I did ask her how was the milk supply? A lot or a little, she said like usual. Which means it is enough to keep her full besides taking her solid food. I have a feeling that there is still no signs of weaning....

So, mothers...i hope those explanations will be highly considered in making your decision of having a set of Premium Beautiful. It is not only for you and your body, it is also benefits your baby. Isn't PB is so thoughtful and considerate? :)

Infertility, Pregnancy + Confinement - Part 2

Sewaktu menanti hari kelahiran anak saya, Omera Sakinah (2 thn 9 bulan), keadaan agak cemas. Saya dan suami agak cemas, we actually checked out from the hospital...hahahaha!

Nak lepaskan hajat pun payah.

PERKARA WAJIB
1. Mandi air suam
2. Ikat rambut ketat-ketat dan tinggi
3. Pakai stokin
4. Bertungku 2/3 kali sehari (lepas mandi pagi - lepas subuh, tengah hari/petang, malam  tidur)
5. Pakai param, pilis dan seangkatannya.
6. Minum air suam/air pegaga (buat sendiri) untuk banyakkan susu.
7. Support perut, belum boleh berbengkung.

Memang betul! Sakit, tak selesa dan macam- macam alasanlah kalau tak nak pakai! Hangat-hangat minyak Afiat!

Baby sihat, saya sihat cuma perut dan badan je out of shape....banyak kerja reconstruction nak buat ni!

Infertility, Pregnancy & Confinement - Part 1

Mana kita ada masa juga nak buat full medical check-up before kahwin. Only few years back kerajaan wajibkan untuk buat ujian AIDS and Thalassemia. Basically, that's how we define diri kita sihat, betul tak?

Tiba-tiba, there you go! Spot on! Period lagi!....dan berterusan selama..... beberapa..... bulan....dan..... t   a    h  u   n..... :(

Sad, truly sad...nobody can coax our hearts...it is broken into pieces...shattered... keep on broken... every month...

Then, we start to dig out the problems and finding solutions. We knock on the doors of every Gynea's in town, get consulted and undergo various of infertility treatments which are very very very tedious, tiring and the most stressful treatment you never want to go through (because we, the ladies are normally had the most treatment).  Worst, if you have to undergo an operation to remove cyst or fibroid. Take that culprit out first before you can get pregnant and you already had a knife on your tummy....and IT IS NOT A C-SECT, pfftt!

Why am I telling you this story? Because I was one of them. I did all the treatments, u name it - hormone pills, hormone injections (on the tummy every morning, same time), IUI - This treatment really put me down. A week after the treatment I was bed-ridden for 7 days because my ovaries bloated due to over stimulated eggs (I did hormone injections prior IUI). God knows how I suffered, I can't even moved and felt my legs, my body was like a paralized person, helpless. I cried and cried and cried for the longest time, telling myself and husband, if this is what Allah has written for me as a journey to have one of His angels in my arm, I am blessed to be the chosen one and I will fight for it.

After the IUI, I took some rest for a while. Let loose a bit, went for holidays, kept myself busy and basically I tried to de-stress. One fine day, my friend who had similar problem asked me to see Dr. Hamid Arshat. I agreed, set an appointment and got diagnosed. Rupa-rupanya, I have a 'buddy' inside my ovary that had been eating up my eggs (Dr. Hamid called it as a 'Terrorist'). That's why tak berlaku sebarang persenyawaan. We did an operation to remove dermoid cyst in my left ovary and after 3 months, I got the result I have always wanted... Alhamdulillah!

Okay, back to the main reason of this whole story, besides all the treatments I have gone through, I also did Acupuncture, traditional massage, and BioDEx (only took 1 complete set sebab malas dan tak suka sangat nak makan/minum herba-herba ni). Kenapa?

Sebab....setelah bertungkus lumus, penat lelah jumpa beberapa specialist (sebelum saya bertemu Dr. Hamid) apa yang saya mau hanyalah treatment yang relaxing tidak menyusahkan dan membebankan saya. PB is just an amazing example of a walking treatment selepas saya buat IUI. Side effects from IUI and other fertility treatments adalah sangat banyak seperti sakit belakang, kegemukan (caused by hormone injections and pills), badan lenguh and bloated, muscle sores, pening dan STRESS!

Saya amat-amat memahami perasaan anda, even our husbands pun kadang-kadang tak dapat mengisi kekosongan hati itu. Hanya Allah SWT tempat kita berdoa dan bercerita tentang lara hati dan kesedihan kita. DIA Maha Mengetahui dan DIA Maha Mendengar. Wallahualam!

About Corset

Assalamualaikum,

Today, we learn some facts about the history of corset.

What is a corset?

A corset is a garment worn to hold and shape the torso into a desired shape for aesthetic or medical purposes (either for the duration of wearing this item, or with a more lasting effect). Both men and women are known to wear corsets, though women are more common wearers.
In recent years, the term "corset" has also been borrowed by the fashion industry to refer to tops which, to varying degrees, mimic the look of traditional corsets without actually acting as one. While these modern corsets and corset tops often feature lacing or boning and generally mimic a historical style of corsets, they have very little if any effect on the shape of the wearer's body. Genuine corsets are usually made by a corsetmaker and should be fitted to the individual wearer.

Etymology

The word corset is derived from the Old French word corps and the diminutive of body, which itself derives from corpusLatin for body. The craft of corset construction is known as corsetry, as is the general wearing of them. (The word corsetry is sometimes also used as a collective plural form of corset.) Someone who makes corsets is a corsetier or corsetière (French terms for a man and for a woman, respectively), or sometimes simply a corsetmaker.
The word corset came into general use in the English language in 1785. The word was used in The Ladies Magazine to describe a "quilted waistcoat" called un corset by the French. The word was used to differentiate the lighter corset from the heavier stays of the period.

Woman's corset (stays) c. 1730–1740. Silk plain weave with supplementary weft-float patterning, stiffened with baleen. Los Angeles County Museum of Art, M.63.24.5.[3]

Uses

Fashion
The most common and well-known use of corsets is to slim the body and make it conform to a fashionable silhouette. For women this most frequently emphasizes a curvy figure, by reducing the waist, and thereby exaggerating the bust and hips. However, in some periods, corsets have been worn to achieve a tubular straight-up-and-down shape, which involves minimizing the bust and hips.
For men, corsets are more customarily used to slim the figure. However, there was a period from around 1820 to 1835 when a wasp-waisted figure (a small, nipped-in look to the waist) was also desirable for men; this was sometimes achieved by wearing a corset.
An overbust corset encloses the torso, extending from just under the arms to the hips. An underbust corset begins just under the breasts and extends down to the hips. Some corsets extend over the hips and, in very rare instances, reach the knees. A shorter kind of corset, which covers the waist area (from low on the ribs to just above the hips), is called a waist cincher. A corset may also include garters to hold up stockings (alternatively a separate garter belt may be worn for that).
Normally a corset supports the visible dress, and spreads the pressure from large dresses, such as the crinoline and bustle. Sometimes a corset cover is used to protect outer clothes from the corset and to smooth the lines of the corset. The original corset cover was worn under the corset to provide a layer between it and the body. Corsets were not worn next to the skin, possibly due to difficulties with laundering these items during the 19th century, as they had steel boning and metal eyelets which would rust. The corset cover would be in the form of a light chemise, made from cotton lawn or silk.

Medical
People with spinal problems such as scoliosis or with internal injuries may be fitted with a form of corset in order to immobilize and protect the torso. Andy Warhol was shot in 1968 and never fully recovered, and wore a corset for the rest of his life.

Fetish
Aside from fashion and medical uses, corsets are also used in sexual fetishism, most notably in BDSM activities. In BDSM, a submissive can be forced to wear a corset which would be laced very tight and give some degree of restriction to the wearer. A dominant can also wear a corset, often black, but for entirely different reasons, such as aesthetics, and to achieve a severe, armored, "unbending", commanding appearance. A very common fetish costume for women is the dominatrix costume. Usually it consists of mostly dark or even black clothing. The woman usually wears a corset or bustier and stockings with high-heeled footwear. High boots are quite common as they enhance the woman's domination. Women in dominatrix costumes usually carry an accessory such as a whip or a riding crop. A specially designed corset, in which the breasts and vulva are left exposed can be worn during vanilla sex or BDSM activities.

Advertisement of corsets for men, 1893

Construction
Corsets are typically constructed of a flexible material (like cloth, particularly coutil, or leather) stiffened with boning (also called ribs or stays) inserted into channels in the cloth or leather. In the 19th century, bones of elephant, moose, and whale were favoured for the boning.[1] Plastic is now the most commonly used material for lightweight corsets and the majority of poor quality corsets, whereas spring or spiral steel is preferred for stronger corsets and generally the better quality corset too. Other materials used for boning include ivory, wood, and cane. (By contrast, a girdle is usually made of elasticized fabric, without boning.)[citation needed]
Corsets are held together by lacing, usually (though not always) at the back. Tightening or loosening the lacing produces corresponding changes in the firmness of the corset. Depending on the desired effect and time period, corsets can be laced from the top down, from the bottom up, or both up from the bottom and down from the top, using two laces that meet in the middle. It is difficult—although not impossible—for a back-laced corset-wearer to do his or her own lacing. In the Victorian heyday of corsets, a well-to-do woman's corset laces would be tightened by her maid, and a gentleman's by his valet. However, Victorian corsets also had a buttoned or hooked front opening called a busk. If the corset was worn loosely, it was possible to leave the lacing as adjusted and take the corset on and off using the front opening (if the corset is worn snugly, this method will damage the busk if the lacing is not significantly loosened beforehand). Self-lacing is also almost impossible with tightlacing, which strives for the utmost possible reduction of the waist. Corset and bodice lacing became a mark of class, front laced bodices being worn by women who could not afford servants.

Waist reduction
By wearing a tightly-laced corset for extended periods, known as tightlacing, men and women can learn to tolerate extreme waist constriction and eventually reduce their natural waist size. Many tightlacers dream of 16 inches (41 cm) and 17 inches (43 cm) waists[citation needed], but are usually satisfied with anything under 20 inches (51 cm)[citation needed].Some went so far that they could only breathe with the top part of their lungs. This caused the bottom part of their lungs to fill with mucus, symptoms of this include a slight but persistent cough and heavy breathing causing a heaving appearance of the bosom. Until 1998, the Guinness Book of World Records listed Ethel Granger as having the smallest waist on record at 13 inches (33 cm). After 1998, the category changed to "smallest waist on a living person" and Cathie Jung took the title with a waist measuring 15 inches (38 cm). Other women, such as Polaire, also have achieved such reductions-- (14 inches (36 cm)--in her case).
However, these are extreme cases. Corsets were and are still usually designed for support, with freedom of body movement, an important consideration in their design. Present day corset-wearers usually tighten the corset just enough to reduce their waists by 2 inches (5.1 cm) to 4 inches (10 cm); it is very difficult for a slender woman to achieve as much as 6 inches (15 cm), although larger women can do so more easily.[citation needed]

Corset comfort
In the past, a woman's corset was usually worn over a chemise, a sleeveless low-necked gown made of washable material (usually cotton or linen). It absorbed perspiration and kept the corset and the gown clean. In modern times, an undershirt or corset liner may be worn.
Moderate lacing is not incompatible with vigorous activity. Indeed, during the second half of the 19th century, when corset wearing was common, there were sport corsets specifically designed to wear while bicycling, playing tennis, or horseback riding, as well as for maternity wear.

Advertisement of corsets for children, 1886

History
The corset has been erroneously attributed to Catherine de' Medici, wife of King Henry II of France. She enforced a ban on thick waists at court attendance during the 1550s. For nearly 350 years, women's primary means of support was the corset, with laces and stays made of whalebone or metal. Other researchers have found evidence of the use of corsets in early Crete.[2]:5
The corset has undergone many changes. The corset was originally known as stays in the early 16th century. It was a simple bodice with tabs at the waist, stiffened by horn, buckram, and whalebone.[2]:6 The center front was further reinforced by a busk made of ivory, wood, or metal. It was most often laced from the back, and was, at first, a garment reserved for the aristocracy.
Stays took a different form in the 18th century, whalebone began to be used more, and there was more boning used in the garment. The shape of the stays changed as well. The stays were low and wide in the front, while in the back they could reach as high as the upper shoulder. Stays could be strapless or use shoulder straps. The straps of the stays were attached in the back and tied at the front sides.
The purpose of 18th century stays was to support the bust, confer the fashionable conical shape while drawing the shoulders back. At this time, the eyelets were reinforced with stitches, and were not placed across from one another, but staggered. This allowed the stays to be spiral laced. One end of the stay lace is inserted and knotted in the bottom eyelet, the other end is wound through the stays' eyelets and tightened on the top. Tight-lacing was not common in this time period, and indulged in only by the very fashionable. Stays were worn by women in all societal levels, from ladies of the court to street vendors.
At this time, there were two other variants of stays, jumps, which were looser stays with attached sleeves, like a jacket, and corsets.[2]:27

My New Adventure

Assalamualaikum,

This is my first entry for this blog after a sudden paused in 2010. I actually have diverted my sales blog to my third company which is YanaYani Studio, an online store for: Hijabs, Muslim Attires, Baby & Kids Apparel, Handmade Handbags, Homewares & Antiques. Goods are mostly handmade - novelty - collections. Made with passion and love.

We've been actively selling our handmade stuff last year and this year we kinda slowdown a bit due to a huge responsibility towards our first and baby company Javareka Ad. Javareka Ad is an advertising company 100% owned by bumiputra. Specialised in all genre of advertising aids such as light box, signboards, acrylic signage, banner, bunting, sticker cutting, customised product, etc. Lotsa projects coming in and yes, this is serious business!

Alhamdulillah, Ya Rabb for the all the blessings and positive people You've sent down for us to live and move forward to a better future.

Ok, now we're talking!

Being an entreprenuer for 7 years, it has taught me so much about life, the sacrifice, people, money, satisfaction and lots more. If I look back how did we manage to stand up this far and stronger, I would say the key word here is PRESERVERANCE & POSITIVE SPIRIT. As I mention 'we', Javareka Ad was built up by my husband - Syamsul Bakhtiar Esa, partner - Syufirdza Yannie Mohamad and myself. Three of us struggled our heart out to make sure that Javareka Ad
is where at it is now and we are climbing and reaching for the highest star!

I am now venturing into a new business, a health and beauty business that can give you a healthier cosier life you have always wanted at the speed of your own :) Sounds fun??...I have lots more to share.

It is a...
PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL LUXURY CORSET

Why Premium Beautiful?
I tell you why ladies, according to my BMI reading, my ideal weight is between BMI 18-25 which is around 48kg - 57kg. That weight was during my pre-wedding and I am hopelessly wanting to gain that figure back. After marriage, it was like a yoyo, 58-56-59-72kg (during pregnancy) - back to 58-59 - 62kg (during my second pregnancy, but I got miscarriage, and still maintaining the same weight). How am I going to do this?? For 2.5 years I have been keeping this extra horrifying baggage everywhere with me. Husband complaining, friends thought I'm pregnant (yes, but not anymore!!) these comments has got to end! I tried almost everything from Yoga, diet drinks, no pills (worried about the hidden side effects), corset (other brands), but none of the above showed a consistent result. Maybe I was the one who is not discipline enough or laziness had sunken me in :(

I stumbled upon my ex-schoolmate's blog and browsing thru the articles and looking at these beautiful ladies who went from giant shape to a pretty little ladies with great shape and hot body, damn! Why can't I have that?? I want that!! I WANT THAT SHAPE BACK!!

Pick up my iPhone and message her....the rest is history! :)

Will keep u update with more posts. Now am getting ready for my ex-staff wedding reception and looking forward to put on my 'Perisai' that's what my husband call it :), and keep looking good.
